A brief history of all things at Qiaozhu Chopsticks:

Founded in 2016 in Xiangyang, Hubei, China, Qiaozhu Co.Ltd is the traditional creation of Zhen Fang, a professional chopsticks designer by trade with over 5 years in customized gifts. Qiaozhu Chopsticks was inspired by a previous online gift business that Zhen Fang created back in 2009 around the time of the explosive period of China’s e-commerce. After a lot of research, steep tech learning curves, and plain old hard slogging, Qiaozhu chopsticks was born and developed into what it is today. It’s been a mission but was definitely worth it to see it flourishing today and we are all very proud of it!

How we run the Qiaozhu Chopsticks store:

We improve the store daily, refining the look and feel and adding new and exciting gift ideas that we think our customers will love. Running the online store on a day-to-day basis is fun; it doesn’t really feel like work. We enjoy researching new suppliers and finding new gift ideas, creating product pages, processing your orders (thank you for that!), and ensuring our lovely customers are happy. Great customer service is key.

Running a very competitive online business is tough too; anyone who thinks it’s a breeze clearly hasn’t tried it. The time it takes to research and find new suppliers, visit costly trade shows all over China and beyond, and make sure the new suppliers are in sync with us, is just a part of the picture. Then there is the listing of the products and writing unique descriptions… which takes forever too. Ensuring we can be found online is a major headache and expense due to the many competing online businesses. Technology is always evolving at a fast pace too, and you have to embrace it to remain competitive. We have to ensure the website is 100% perfect, and that it runs smoothly and loads quickly.
